How do I become an S.U student?
Simply purchase a Course or Course bundle on our shop page.
What do S.U courses include?
Each S.U course is created, owned and managed by the instructor(s). The foundation of each course are its lessons, which can include videos, audios, slides, pdf documents and text. In addition, instructors can add resources and various types of practice activities, as a way to enhance the learning experience of students.
How do I take a course?
S.U courses are entirely on-demand and they can be accessed from several different devices and platforms, including a desktop, laptop, tablet and mobiles.
Do I have to start my S.U course at a certain time? And how long do I have to complete it?
There are no deadlines to begin or complete a course.
Is S.U an accredited institution?
S.U is not an accredited institution but we offer skills-based courses taught by real-world experts in their field.
Do I receive anything after I complete a course?
Every approved course features a certificate of completion to document your accomplishment.
Can I preview a course before buying it?
Yes! You can watch a video preview of the course on the specific page of the course. You can also read key information about the course on same page.
How do I pay for a course?
Select a payment method and Click the COMPLETE PAYMENT button on the cart page.
You can pay directly to any of our local banks or via any of the attached payment gateways.
We shall be adding Stripe and Crypto payment gateways soon sowe can support all countries, locations and payment preferences.
What if I don’t like a course I purchased, can I get a refund?
We scrutinize course to ensure their suitability to the needs of our students before they are published. This is to help us avoid the need for refunds.
Kindly review a course very well before making a purchase as we don’t offer refunds.

You can search for answers to your question in the Q&A or ask the course instructor.
Can I sign up for the S.U Affiliate Program?
Once you sign up as a student, your affiliate portal is automatically created. You can choose to promote courses as an affiliate immediately.
Can I promote S.U courses?
It’s up to you! You choose which courses, course bundles or offers to promote and which links or banners to use.
How long does it take to get started?
Once your sign up via product purchase is validate, you can get started. This is usually within a few minutes.

How do I sign up to become an S.U instructor?
Purchase any of the courses or course bundles via the Shop button and your automatically become an affiliate. We have a unified sign up system for students, instructors and affiliates.
Can I teach a course on any topic?
You are free to choose the topic you wish to teach on S.U but we reserve the right to screen courses and approve them. We shall not approve courses that are derogatory to other races, religions or creeds.
Do I have to pay any fees in order to become an S.U instructor?
No, there are no fees attached. Instructors are paid according to a revenue share model.
What approval do I need to get started as an instructor?
No approval is needed to get started.
We only need to verify your identity.
Are there any requirements that my course must meet?
Yes. Your course must have at least 30 minutes of video content and at least 5 lectures or learning modules or topics.
How will I get paid as an instructor?
Instructors can use local bank accounts in Nigeria, PayPal, Payoneer or direct deposit (U.S. only) to receive their payments. You are paid every 14 days as an instructor.
What is the primary teaching method on S.U?
A standard S.U course is video-based. Additional teaching tools (like assignments, quizzes, and exercises, etc) can be added to create a rich learning experience for students.
How do I create an S.U course?
There shall be a free training on that in a short while. Kindly look our for it.
How do I get my course materials on the S.U site?
We function primarily as an on-demand, video-based platform, you’ll need to upload your video files directly to S.U. In other words, students must be able to view your course lectures on S.U.

Does S.U retain exclusive rights to my course if I sell it on S.U?
No. Our marketplace model means that when you publish a course on our platform, you retain all the rights to your content. You simply grant us a license to host the course and make it available to our users, and to advertise your course on our platform and on third party services.

Will S.U promote my course(s)?
We generally promote the S.U platform and may use your course(s) in our promotions.Â
Our affiliates also promote courses.
In all, we offer no guarantees of promotions and or sales.
What languages can courses be taught in?
You can create courses in your preferred language.
We however suggest that you consider using languages that are common to most people in the target audience of your course.
As an instructor, can I also be an affiliate?
Yes, you are automatically enrolled as an affiliate when you get started with S.U but being an affiliate is a personal choice.
How do I earn commissions as an S.U Affiliate?
You earn commissions each time a new person uses your unique affiliate link to make a purchase on Sowers University.
How does S.U calculate my commissions as an instructor??
Your revenue share will be 80% of the Net Amount less all applicable deductions.
When do I get paid as an instructor?
We pay commissions every Friday for the week ended on Wednesday.
How much can I earn as an instructor with S.U?
It depends on your appetite. We offer competitive commission rates. The more you promote, the more you earn.
Can I promote the link to my S.U courses?
It’s up to you! You choose which courses, course bundles or offers to promote and which links or banners to use.
Can I run special promotions and special discounts for my courses?
As an S.U Affiliate, you’ll have access to publisher-exclusive promotions and unique content depending on their availability from time to time.

How does S.U calculate commissions per successful referral?
You earn 20% commisions on your first 10 referrals.
You earn 30% commisions on your next 11 to 50 referrals.
You earn 40% commisions on your next 51 to 100 referrals.
You earn 50% commisions on from 101 referrals upwards.
When do I get paid my commissions?
We pay commissions every Friday for the week ended Friday of the previous week. This means you get paid the commissions for your first week the Friday of the following week.
How will I receive my commissions?
Affiliates can use local bank accounts in Nigeria, PayPal, Payoneer or direct deposit (U.S. only) to receive their payments. You are paid every Friday as an affiliate.

How do I track my clicks, conversion, referrals or sales?
It is an automated process, and you do not have to do anything.

If I refer someone, will I earn commissions on their first purchase only or on all their purchases?
You shall earn commisions on all their purchases.
S.U provides a true residual income system.
What is the cookie policy of S.U?
Our cookie policy is 180 days.
This means if you send your affiliate link to someone, your link will remain active on that persons system for 180 days and you shall get the commissions if the person makes a purchase within 180 days provided they use your link to purchase the course.
We shall always credit the last link that generates the sale.
